The button opens Stripe's own checkout page. Cards are handled by Stripe; we never see them.
How activation works
Stripe's own signed webhook tells the workspace the moment a subscription starts, and it switches to active on its own — usually within a minute. A canceled subscription cancels the workspace the same way. Nothing in the ledger is locked in the meantime: you can create loads and capture snapshots from the first minute, and the app tells you plainly that the subscription is not activated yet.
If a payment has gone through and the workspace still says inactive after a business day, write to support@brokerdiligence.app with the workspace name — the operator can still flip it by hand from the admin area.
